The Quilt in Israel and Abroad

Where the Quilt has been seen

 

The first public appearance of the Dizengoff Memorial Quilt was at the Memorial
Ceremony for the Victims at Dizengoff Centre, Sunday, March 20, 2005 (see pic
on right). This annual memorial ceremony took place on March 4th at 3:56PM
(the exact time of the attack) at the intersection of Dizengoff and King George
streets in Tel-Aviv, next to the memorial monument. It was organized and
sponsored by the Municipality of Tel-Aviv-Yafo, in coordination with the victims’
families. 

The Memorial is now held in April, as part of an annual joint ceremony for all
victims of Terror in Tel Aviv at the new Gan Nifga'ei HaTeror (Terror Victims
Memorial Garden) on the banks of the Yarkon River.

The Quit has travelled abroad to the UK, South Africa and Australia
